💙💛 REELING IN THE YEARS… 📸🏉

Ah, would you look at these lads! 😍 How many familiar faces can you name? There are bound to be a few stories and memories coming back with this one!

And those jerseys… HOW FABULOUS WERE THEY?! 💙💛 They certainly don’t make them like that anymore!

Now, here’s your challenge! Can you name these lads? Tag them, tag their teammates, tag the friends who played alongside them, and share this post with anyone who might recognise a face or two! Let’s see how many we can name and get the old stories flowing. Sure, there’s bound to be a few good ones! 😂 they definitely could have a photo reunion at our 100 year Gala

So many great people, great friendships and great memories make up the history of Bantry Bay RFC. Let’s hear from you! 💙💛

💙💛 APPRECIATION MONDAY – STEVE & GILLIAN O’DONOVAN | THE BRICK OVEN, BANTRY 💛💙

Some people give so much to a club that they become part of its story, and Steve and Gillian O’Donovan are certainly two of those people. ❤️

As we look towards celebrating 100 years of Bantry Bay RFC, we want to take a moment to recognise the incredible support Steve and Gillian of The Brick Oven, Bantry have given our club over the years.

From sponsoring our teams and continually donating to the club, to keeping our players, coaches and supporters well fed, their generosity has touched so many corners of our rugby family.

But for us, it goes beyond sponsorship and donations. Steve and Gillian are friends, advisers and people we know we can turn to. They genuinely care about our club and the people in it, and that kind of support is priceless.

Running a club takes an army of people, and having local businesses and friends who believe in what we do makes such a difference. Steve and Gillian, you have stood behind us time and time again, and we hope you know how much that means to us.

Thank you both for your generosity, your friendship, your advice and for always backing Bantry Bay RFC. We are incredibly lucky to have you in our corner, and even luckier to call you friends. 💙💛

Here’s to celebrating the people who help make our club what it is. 🏉❤️

It was like a summers day when Bantry Skibb took on Sunday’s Well/Carrigaline on the club house pitch in Skibbereen this Sunday. The hosts made a bright start scoring a try in the first few minutes. It was back and forth in defence and attack and Sunday’s Well/Carrigaline came back to level the scores at 7-7. An excellent maul from Bantry/Skibb got the hosts ahead before Sunday’s Well/Carrigaline hit back to lead at half time. It was a very tense game with both sides cancelling each other out but Bantry/Skibb scored late in the second half and managed to hang on until the end to win 17-14 Skibbereen RFC
