A fantastic achievement for our Ladies as Bundoran Golf Club wins the Maire O’Donnell Trophy for the very first time!

Heading to Gweedore Golf Club for the final leg with 4 and half matches up, the team faced tough, blustery conditions and a determined Gweedore side. It came right down to the wire, but Bundoran secured the match needed to bring the trophy home. Team Captain Kathleen Moran, in her acceptance speech, thanked the entire panel for their enthusiasm, commitment and cooperation throughout the various stages of the competition.

This is a particularly special win for Bundoran, having previously finished runners-up in 2019.

The team were blown away by the support and good wishes they received from members of the club and beyond throughout the competition. Kathleen also passes on her thanks to Gweedore Golf Club for their sportsmanship and hospitality.

A huge congratulations to Kathleen, the team and everyone involved, a brilliant achievement for Bundoran Golf Club!
