Delighted to be a (very small!) part of what is expected to be a great weekend at this years Agri Aware Open Farm.

Expected to be a great day for everyone from those who are involved in Agriculture every day, right through to those who have no previous knowledge of farming.

It’s a great opportunity for those particular individuals to understand where their food comes from, and to see first-hand everything that goes into producing excellent quality Irish food.

Come find me along the nature trail if you want to hear the importance of grass to Irish farming and get an understanding what goes into measuring and managing grass!

Relief milker for 140 cow herd. 18 unit parlour. FTY and cluster removers. Good cow flow. Kilnaleck Area, Cavan.

Relief milker for 80 cow herd. 8 unit parlour. Simple parlour with Good cow flow. Edgeworthtown Area, Longford.

Both guys looking for someone for every second weekend and some midweek evenings if possible on an ongoing basis, and to cover few days holidays over the summer.

Experience desirable but will provide training for people willing to learn.

New Bridge installed over the winter on the farm of one of our clients. Making land accessible at all times and also protecting water quality. Able to graze drier land as a result and great residuals achieved in challenging conditions

A solid 1000kg Snow/ha here in Cavan!

Snowy conditions this week meaning some grasswalks had to be delayed until it cleared. Not to worry though as the dedicated team at CGC will be rearing to go when snow clears!
