Congratulations to Sean Tobin on a superb victory at the Michael Manning Memorial Dunshaughlin 10K and round 5 of the Peugeot race series, crossing the line first in one of Ireland’s most prestigious road races. Sean’s win also sees him adding another outstanding performance to an already impressive season.

On a course renowned for fast times and fierce competition, Sean showed his class from start to finish. Well deserved and a fantastic result against a quality field. Congratulations Sean.

RIP Ciarán O'Lionaird

Remember him winning numerous big under age cross country titles before turning into a world class track athlete.

He went on to win a bronze medal at the European Youth Olympic Festival in Lignano, Italy.

In the final of 2011 World Championships – Men's 1500 metres, he placed 10th.

Despite getting numerous injuries, he still managed to compete at the 2012 Olympic Games in London.

Such sad news 😭

CREECH WINS CORK HALF MARATHON IN STYLE

One of Cork’s finest Ryan Creech (Leevale AC) wins the Cork City Half Marathon in superb style.

Sub 65 mins and the crowd go wild. What an athlete.

2nd onwards at around the 15 mile mark.

Cork City Marathon leader at around 15 miles.

Well clear of the field.
