Sunday 20th September will see Railyard and Railyard LGFC host our local years end tournaments at U8, U11 and U14 level. At U11 and U14 we honor Joe Walsh and Patrick Dowd, two past stalwarts of the club, while the U8s play for The Parish Cup. The U6s also get a chance to show off their skills as they take part in an exhibition game.
The day gets underway at 10.00am with a pre-match parade while the football action gets underway at 10.20am. All support is welcome for our future stars.

Over the last week one of the advertising hoardings was broken off the wall along the track. As you will notice the 4 bolts are still in place in the wall so it would have taken considerable effort for someone to do this damage. This is the second incidence of vandalism we have had in the past few weeks as the outdoor toilets were flooded on purpose a few weeks ago. We purposely have no gate at the entrance to the pitch and track as we want it used by all in the community as often as they want. The last thing the club want is to have to put a gate and a lock in place. The hoardings were erected as a thank you to local businesses who contributed so kindly to our Lip-sync fundraiser. We have narrowed down the timeline of when the damage was done and are going through the security camera footage and will be able to identify the culprit very soon.
If anyone has had a lapse in judgment and made this mistake please contact the club and make things right before we hand any names over to the Guards
