Unfortunately not real birds but Bi Lingual Identification Panels of Native Irish Birds painted by our talented staff member Ray Hunt as part of Omeath District Development Biodiversity Awarness Programme.
When completed this set of 12 panels will be displayed around the village for everyone to view and admire.
Thank you Ray, your work is a credit to you.

Welcome to the Dolmen Centre. Did you know we have a beautiful Biodiversity and Scensory Garden right here in the grounds of the Centre.
It’s a space created by our employees with the support of Louth County Council Louth Gardeners & Growers Collective Cooley Connect Well and community donations.
As we walk through our Biodiverdity Garden we have our raised flower beds growing potatoes, raspberries, gooseberries, white & red currents, herbs and apple trees. Our recycled tyres with beautiful wildflowers. And not forgetting our legendary Brown Bull of Cooley proudly over looking the stunning Carlingford Lough.
As we step into our Sensory Garden, a dedicated unique enclave designed to stimulate all five senses and an addational outdoor meeting area.
It includes a water feature, wind chimes, buddha and woodland mural with herbs, a pear tree and an amazing array flowers and trees growing in recycled raised planters.
We hope you have enjoyed a little snippet of the Dolmen Centre.
