A remarkable season so far for SEAT Supercup Ireland , which has seen the series have six race winners in just ten rounds.

Five time champion Shane Murphy leads the win tally, but not by a lot, as RM Sport’s Stephen Wright has also picked up multiple victories.

Consistency has been key for championship front runner Paul Parr, and the door is still wide open for Victor Cullen to finally stand on the top step.

A great end to the season ahead for one of Ireland’s fastest tin top racing series.

SEAT Supercup Ireland Championship – Round 10, Anglesey – Race 2

Shane Murphy produced a flawless lights-to-flag victory in Race 2 of Round 10 at Anglesey, converting pole position into his second win of the season and collecting the fastest lap to maximise his championship points haul.

Murphy controlled the 12-lap encounter from the outset, but behind him the battle for the podium was intense. Daragh McMullen delivered one of the drives of the race, climbing from fourth on the grid to finish second. Having missed the previous few championship events, the Rocket Motorsport driver made an immediate impact on his return with a well-deserved podium finish.

Michael Cullen completed the top three, while Dave Maguire finished fourth. Adrian McNally continued his consistent run of results in fifth, with Stephen Wright gaining two places from eighth on the grid to take sixth.

The race wasn’t without drama, however. Pauric McQuaid retired with just two laps remaining after running inside the leading group, while Paul Parr’s race ended prematurely after only four laps. Mark Turley was unable to take the start.

Murphy’s victory sees him continue to close the gap at the top of the championship, but Stephen Wright remains the points leader on 138 points, holding a slender one-point advantage over Paul Parr on 137. Murphy’s score at Anglesey moves him onto 121 points, firmly keeping him in contention, while Victor Cullen sits fourth on 109 and Adrian McNally completes the top five with 100 points.

With four races still remaining in the 2026 season, the championship battle is finely poised, with just a single point separating the top two and Murphy continuing to pile on the pressure after outscoring everyone at the Anglesey event.
