UCC Medieval & Renaissance Society

The Mediæval & Renaissance Society (or just MedRen, for short) is a long established, active University College Cork (UCC) Society. The society is dedicated to accurately reenacting the early Irish, Viking and Norman periods of irish history. To do this we hold sessions throughout the year where we teach our members traditional medieval skills,in both crafting and combat. With a wide variety of activities there is something for everybody, and of course every session is followed by a visit to the pub. Our sessions happen every Wednesday from 6:30 in Elec.
