Grangevale AFC is a County Cork soccer club that was founded in 1953 following a suggestion by Mr. Michael Dorgan suggested they form a team. They founders decided to adopt the orange and black colours of Wolverhampton Wanders, a popular English football team at the time. The club took it's name from the local Grangevale House and early matches were played on a soccer pitch on Conron’s Farm. In th
