Well done Loop Head Rowing Club
Safety First πŸ‘πŸ»πŸ‘πŸ»

Tonight, Loop Head Rowing Club hosted an abridged VHF radio safety course with the brilliant Dr Pat Hartigan of vhf.ie. The only non-state provider of SOLAS-compliant marine radio communications training in Ireland, authorised by the Irish Department of Transport and approved by Irish Sailing and the RYA. His expertise is genuinely sought after. We were lucky.
Thanks to Limerick and Clare Education and Training Board and their REACH funding for making it happen. Community education investment at its best.
The venue? Cross Digital Hub. Wow. Take a bow, everyone who makes that place what it is. πŸ™ŒπŸ»
Later this month, several of our skippers will attend the full accredited course. What started this evening doesn’t stop here. 🏁
Thank you to Dr Hartigan, LCETB, Cross Digital Hub, and everyone who came along.
Rowing strong & safe on what we built together.
