There are two posts we would like you to place. Please include a date and a picture if you can. Also this is not a place for getting rid of old junk ;). Freecycle is nothing new, in fact there is a group in Cork with their own website. I decided to start this one for two reasons. I found the other site hard to navigate and I also thought it might be good to have one on Facebook.

This is worth signing we need to do something about the awful food waste scandal in this country.
Minister for Environment Alan Kelly: Make it illegal for supermarkets to destroy unsold food. Let humanity & common sense prevail. We have too many hungry people to allow this wanton waste to continue.

Hi every1 the is a free organic veggie growing course on this weekend at the Cork Community Print Centre behind the bus station.. There is an info hour on friday evening @ 7 then the course run from 9:30 to 5 on sat and sun... the course is called Get Growing it will be shared by Eoin MacCuirc and myself... there is still places available... if you want more info call 0858123496.
