My movement practice these days - pushing buggy up nice hills in the fresh air and wearing her around in carrier in house - she LOVES being able to see all the things going on π
Evenings are for gentle stretching and (sometimes!) bodyweight squats and pushups π€

Our beautiful girl Isabelle arrived just over 4 weeks ago and its been a wonderful whirlwind of new experiences and strong emotions.
So grateful for a strong body, mind and support system β€οΈ
The power of breath and mindfulness during labour and after have been so key to how positive my experience has been.
Don't get me wrong, the evenings and 'witching hours' have been intense ( any tips welcome π).
I also couldn't recommend going to osteopath pre and postnatally for mama and baby. I've personally had great outcomes as a result, for baby positioning during pregnancy and breastfeeding latch.
I'm looking forward to return to gentle movement and eventually (when body and mind lets me know) heavier lifting πͺ I didn't think I would, but I miss Squats ! π

Weekly Outdoor socially distanced Hatha yoga class in Fota recreational centre is back!
So exciting ! π
Starting this Sat 19th June at 10am for 60mins π
Hopefully the weather holds up π€π€
The weekly class will run Friday evenings or Saturday mornings weather and schedule dependent !

π itβs been a while IG friends !
Iβve been quiet of late working on my next steps for my offerings of teachings online and eventually in person.
For now I will be sticking to online classes but only resume them again in September.
In the meantime I may decide to do some pop up outdoor classes in Fota from June (weather depending ) so do keep an eye out ! π
As I continue to develop my own practice and focus on other life priorities I will be posting less on this platform but will continue to share little bits of my discoveries and learnings along the way π

Also taking time to meet outdoors with friends 1:1 , breathe in the forest or sea air and enjoy the simpler things with my fav personπ

I was in need of some upper body release after a weekend of knitting π§Ά & painting π§βπ¨
So lots of gentle backbends, passive and active , to begin and finishing with camel pose , my favourite once youβve activated enough of the backbody and donβt feel youβre compressing the lower back ππ»π
Classes this week :
Friday 7-8pm activating your backbody for backbends (mixed level)
Sunday 8-9.15pm Restoring & Nurturing Restorative
