A volunteer-run, non-profit, do-it-yourself bicycle workshop for the community to use. We provide tools, parts and help for you to fix your own bike.
Cork Community Bikes first opened its workshop at Cork Foyer in summer 2007 as a volunteer-run DIY bike workshop. Everyone is welcome, whether you have a lot of experience or none. We gratefully accept donations of bikes and parts. We repair bikes and sell them to pay for the upkeep of the workshop. We teach courses on bike maintenance and safe cycling skills. Starting at Berwick Fountain on Grand Parade, this relaxed group ride will follow quiet roads and cycle paths all the way to Ballincollig, with refreshments waiting at the end. A lovely chance to slow down on a Sunday afternoon✨
