This year , both St Michaels GFC and St Michaels LGFC celebrate anniversaries , 75 years and 25 years since their foundation. We continue today, investing our time and energy, keeping the vision alive of those people who founded our Clubs . We are now a thriving existence , with a home and facility in Páirc Mhichíl Naofa , a 4g development around the corner, and more importantly, a vibrant membership across both clubs .We are delighted to announce , that , to honour both Anniversaries , we will have a dinner dance in November in the Rochestown Park Hotel. Planning is underway right now for that event , with the aim of honouring both anniversaries in a fitting manner , and in St Michaels tradition, have a great social gathering. We can look forward now to that event and in the meantime will be looking for sponsorship and volunteers to help make that night a special occasion. Friday November 7 is the date you need to put in your diary.

LOOKING AHEAD
WHAT’S IN STORE
We have a lot of things to look forward to over the coming weeks and months. Our Seniors have two league matches to complete the league campaign, and, from then on, it will be a build up to both Senior and Junior Championships. The Féile finals ( we still await a venue) are at the end of June and we look forward to the build up of that. We have a Table Quiz on June 12 to fundraise for the Féile trip , we have plans for a summer blitz for our U9 & U1o teams. We will stage a monthly clean up of our facilities beginning Mon June 9th, and the second staging of the Frank Barry Tournament in September. We are delighted also, to announce an anniversary dinner dance in November to celebrate 25 years of St Michaels LGFC and 75 years of St Michaels GFC . We have a great team assembled to organise that event honouring those milestones in the ladies and mens clubs. 🟢🟡

The 2018 group gave a clinic in football skills at Bishopstown this morning. On a glorious morning the boys played teams from Ballincollig, Bishopstown, Carrigaline, Douglas, Delaneys and Whites Cross. The teamwork on display was a joy to watch.
