Join us for this gorgeous workshop led by experienced midwives designed to educate and inform you on all things labour and birth at Cork Lotus Yoga Studio, Sun 29 Sep! The events we have witnessed unfolding in Gaza in recent months have left us feeling absolutely horrified. It has broken our hearts to see how in particular it has affected pregnant women, new mothers and newborns. As midwives we wanted to come together and use our skills to offer something really special to expectant mothers while also raising funds to help those affected by this genocide.

A bit about the midwives;
Naomi O Donovan (Midwife, birth physiology educator) is a senior midwife who has worked in all areas of CUMH. She studied birth physiology extensively and is passionate about using positions and techniques to support women in labour.
Sharon Goggin (Midwife, antenatal educator) is a senior Midwife with a variety of experience. She is particularly passionate about Antenatal Education/ mental & physical preparation for labour & birth and ultimately to empower you to achieve a positive birth experience.
Colette Mansfield (Midwife, hypnobirthing educator) is a domino midwife working in CUMH. She followed her passion into hypnobirthing teaching after observing its benefits to birthing women for many years and experiencing its amazing power during her own two births. She believes that all births are tremendous events, and regardless of how you birth your baby and that by using hypnobirthing you will have a positive, and empowering experience.
Clíodhna O Sullivan a (Midwife, yoga teacher) is a yoga teacher and midwife. Passionate about women’s health she loves blending yogic elements into her everyday work as a midwife. She will guide you through practices that will offer a focus on areas of the body that are often weakened or strained in pregnancy.
