Beech Hill Table Tennis Club

Beech Hill is holding a SportsAbility session between 8.15 and 10 pm on Wednesday 20 May in the Ballincollig Parish Community Centre P31KV63. All are welcome.

Beech Hill players attended the latest SO Munster table tennis training camp in preparation for the Ireland Games in June.

Great night last night at the launch of Mixed Ability Sports Cork in Musgrave Park with Beech Hill providing the indoor entertainment!

Beech Hill had three players competing in the Malmo Para Open 2026 this weekend with the TTI Para Squad - Kevin O'Callaghan, Aoife Kelly and Patrick Sweeney. Both Kevin and Aoife medalled with Kevin achieving great success with one gold and two silver medals across a number of different categories - the best Irish performer - and Aoife winning bronze in Performance Class 3. Congrats to all our players!

6 of our Junior players took part in the Munster TT Juniors Performance Camp today in Knocknaheeny - the camp is an important element of the preparation of players for selection for the Inter Provincial Championships in April of this year. Well done to Cian, Finn, Emma, Kevin, Taha and Victoria. Club coaches Philip, Sylwester and Eoin were at hand to assist Conn Higgins in delivering the camp.

Our latest champion - Syed Taha Ahmed ! Taha is the number 1 ranked male player at the U/11 grade following his victory in the National Junior Classification competition held in Dublin on Saturday last. Congrats to Taha and to head coach Philip Shaw on a wonderful achievement for Taha and Beech Hill!

this month, ahead of promoting the Club in the local schools in Ballincollig, we are dividing the three hour session on Monday into two sessions. The first session will be 7.00 to 8.30 pm, which will be for Junior players and 8.30 to 10.00 pm will be for Senior players. Adults who wish to stay and play with their children during the first session are welcome to do so.

Huge congrats to Club player Kevin O'Callaghan for his Class 4 Mixed Doubles gold medal at the European Youth Paralympic Championships held in Instanbul this weekend. Kevin also won a silver medal in the Class 4 Doubles, so a wonderful achievement for him and a proud moment for his family and for Beech Hill.
