Speed drill variation with hoops

Coachingmovement kicking off our speed and agility work for the next four weeks—this is our first physical block of the year. I’ll be posting plenty of content throughout this block that coaches can use with their 11–14 year-old athletes.

A major focus during this phase will be teaching players to use the rack or sport-specific equipment as much as possible while performing these drills. The goal is to build habits that transfer directly into their sport, helping them develop real-world speed, stability, and coordination.

Launching new content for 2021. To start here’s a snippet of some of our new material. Here we have Isaac aged 7 who is having his first ever physical session. Follow his progress over the next 6 weeks. To start, we will work on his mechanics and running form and have plenty of coordination exercises. I’m a firm believer in starting physical work early in a fun and enjoyable way fof the athletes.
