Sunday's Well Rebel, Irelands 1st Mixed Ability Rugby Team
2x IMART World Cup Winners 2015 & 2022 Mixed Ability sport is the inclusion of all players!
Sunday's Well Rebels are the first Irish mixed ability rugby team. The Mixed Ability model encourages social inclusion by mixing “able-bodied” volunteers, coaches or tutors who act as facilitators or helpers to guide players on the pitch.Mixed Ability Sport is not about classifying levels of ability and separating disabled players into different tiers. Offering support and involvement are encouraged by all, on and off the field.

Last Saturday, we celebrated World Down Syndrome Day! 🌈 We're shining a spotlight on our incredible players with Down syndrome, who bring so much joy and determination to our teams! 💪 Huge shoutout to teams across the club rocking their odd socks during the week in support of inclusion and awareness - you're all amazing! 👏

The Sunday's Well Rebels man also picked up the Player Of The Match Award for a proper workhorse shift during our game against Schilde Diabolos Rugbyclub

The Rebels annual Stephen’s day game went down a treat as always, with almost 30 regretful rugby players turning up for some fun but punishing rugby to run off the Turkey and make room for beverages!
It was great to see rebels past & present as well as other club members and friends of the club, including family members and hellhounds a like!
We at the Rebels thank all those who turned up to play and support!
We hope everyone had an amazing Christmas and have a Happy New Year!
