Séamus is always so excited to explore the hills with us! Can’t beat the freedom it brings. Who do you bring along on your hiking trips?
Lots of hikes, walks and general outdoors activities that I’ve enjoyed and you can too.
Including Ireland and the Uk *Disclaimer - Remember to do your own research before jumping into anything that you’ve never done before!*

🏴Lake Windermere📍
Dog friendly lakeside walk located on the west side of the lake. Parking at Wray castle we walk south along the lake taking in some lovely views along the way🌅
Wray castle itself is a fantastic place that is part of the national trust. Parking is at a reasonable price and they have a cafe and toilets on-site. You can also do tours of the castle itself and learn about its history 🏰
The trail is relatively flat on the west side and is part of a circuit that goes the whole way around the lake although most of the east side is privately owned and brings you slightly further from the lake itself ⛰️
There’s so much to do including a lake cruise ferry that can bring you to multiple areas of interest along the lake as well as water activities such as paddle boarding, kayaking and row boats 🚣♂️
Séamus however enjoyed paddling in the water and trying to eat the waves 🌊
