KIDS MARTIAL ARTS CLASSES IN HAROLD’S CROSS
Do you have a kid at home who’s interested in all things ninja, samurai, anime or manga? Maybe they’d like to try an authentic Japanese martial art in a real Japanese dojo?

Our 2026 Spring term starts on January 3rd and we have a small number of spaces available for new students.

Ages 7–11: Saturdays 11:00 – 11:45 am
Ages 12–16: Mondays 6:00 – 7:00 pm

Kids are welcome to try a class for free, and then decide if they like it. Fees are €90 per two-month term with a 10% discount for additional family members. Spaces allocated on a first-come, first-served basis.

NEW MARTIAL ARTS CLASS FOR TEENS
Do you have a teenager at home who’s interested in all things ninja, samurai, anime or manga? If so, maybe they’d like to try an authentic Japanese martial art in a real Japanese dojo?

We’re located in a full time premises in Harold’s Cross and have training for kids aged 7 to 11 at 11am on Saturday mornings, and older kids aged 12 to 16 on Monday evenings at 6pm.

One week to go before the start of the new term of Ninja Kids in Harold's Cross. We're excited to see everyone after the summer, and to get back on the mats.

As of today, August 27th, there are THREE places left for this upcoming term. So if you have a kid aged seven or up who might be interested, drop us a line to find out how to sign them up.

Hi all, our next term of kids classes starts in two weeks time, on Saturday September 2nd.

Right now, as of Monday August 21st, there are just FOUR places available in this class. (For insurance reasons, the number of kids we can take is capped, and so new kids are only admitted when places appear.)

So, if you'd like your child to train with us, here's how you can do it. Go to https://happobiken.com/ninjakids and add your e-mail address to the list by using the form at the bottom of the page.

Later this week, we will be sending out a mail with the link that parents can use to pay for the term. It'll be a case of 'first-come, first-served' once that mail goes out.

Happobiken We teach classical, old style Japanese martial arts, sometimes known as kobudo.

Hugely proud of all the kids who tested and passed gradings yesterday. This was also the last session of the term, and now we're on our summer break until September.

There will be a kids workshop between now and September - so watch out for details on that - but otherwise have a great summer everyone. Keep practicing and lots of love and encouragement from Alex, Plami, Sally and Rae.

(Thanks to Sally for making and bringing onigiri rice balls for everyone - the kids loved them and enjoyed discovering a new food!)

Last call on places for our next term, starting Saturday November 5th, in Harold's Cross, Dublin 6.

We have 1 place left for a kid aged between 6 and 9 years of age, and two places in our older group, for kids aged between 10 and 14 years of age.
