Over the past 7 years, Hit and Hope Tennis has taken me on an incredible journey, bringing free tennis coaching and equipment to children in refugee camps, post-conflict areas, Orphanages and disadvantaged communities across 8 countries.

More recently, that journey has begun to evolve.

I’ve started to branch out into inclusive tennis abroad, working with blind and visually impaired players and helping to introduce disability tennis programs in new countries. From running “come and try” sessions to delivering coach education session , the goal is simple: make tennis accessible to everyone.

So far, I’ve had the privilege of helping to start and support inclusive tennis initiatives in Finland, Netherlands and Hungary. Watching someone experience tennis in a completely new way,hearing the ball, feeling the court, building confidence

Tennis has the power to change lives, and that should be true for all, regardless of background, ability, or circumstance.

Excited for what’s ahead as Hit and Hope continues to grow, on and off the court 🎾

Since 2018, I have been traveling to refugee camps, orphanages, schools, and detention centers across Europe, the Middle East, and Africa to bring free tennis lessons and equipment to children affected by war, trauma, and neglect. Over the years, I have visited 8 countries, completed 12 trips, and run 10 programs for these deserving children. Now, I am preparing for my most ambitious trip yet to India, and I need your help. I am raising funds to purchase essential equipment like tennis nets, rackets, and balls. Any contribution, no matter how small, would make a huge difference. A Heartwarming week in Cairo comes to an end. A special week with the most deserving kids at the African School of Hope. What makes it extra special was the kids got to set foot on a Tennis Court for the very first time. A huge thanks to Nwokobia Emeka Peter for his support to Hit and Hope Tennis this week 🎾 😊

A School for children of African refugees, children who have experienced the trauma of war or lost parents. Looking forward to a week of energy and positivity and giving kids the opportunity to fall in love with Tennis and growing their confidence. 🇪🇬 🇮🇪 🎾

Happiness and self-confidence are the most important elements of a healthy childhood. Kids who have been through trauma and going through poverty , isolation, conflict, and forced displacement , need laughter, fun , Joy and the freedom to not live in fear, to regain their childhood
