🚫 Cardio doesn’t burn your muscle

One of the biggest fitness myths is that cardio will make you weak and eat away your gains. Research says the opposite.

✅ Greater aerobic fitness is linked to maintaining muscle and strength as you age.
✅ In a study comparing “highly aerobically active” people (4+ hrs/week for 10+ years) vs sedentary groups, the active group had:

Higher grip strength

Higher knee extension torque
Both are strong markers for longevity.

💡 Why? Aerobic fitness improves mitochondrial function and energy efficiency — giving your body more fuel to sustain muscle and strength long-term.

This doesn’t replace lifting. Strength training is still essential for building and maintaining muscle. But cardio supports it — not destroys it.

Bottom line: Cardio won’t burn your muscle. It should be part of every training program if you want to stay strong, healthy, and resilient as you age,

So go for a run you lazy s**t! 😅

A brilliant weekend, competing alongside some of my personal training clients in HYROX Frankfurt.

From the first km run to the final wall balls, it was about showing up, pushing limits, and proving what consistent training delivers.

I’m incredibly proud of my clients for not just taking on the challenge but absolutely smashing it. Watching them put in the work leading up to this and seeing it pay off on competition day was a highlight,

Training is about more than just hitting the gym – it’s about being consistent and showing up even when you don't feel like it.

Next stop? Another HYROX in 2025 for sure! but for now, it's time to fatten up the turkey and soak up the festive vibes and enjoy a well-deserved rest.

Wow, what a transformation! This lady has lost 5kg in just 3 months. And there's more to come! Losing fat and toning your body doesn't have to be difficult. Here's how you can do it: first, figure out your daily caloric expenditure (DCE), and then reduce your calorie intake by 10%. If you hit a plateau, reduce your calories again by another 10%, but make sure you don't go below 1400 calories if you're doing high-intensity training. For your workouts, focus on high-rep exercises with short rest periods and a lot of super-sets. I recommend choosing 6-8 exercises, each consisting of 15-20 reps, and doing them like a circuit about 4-6 times, depending on your fitness levels. MOST IMPORTANTLY, STAY CONSISTENT
