WIT Arena, Waterford.

Battlezone FC Waterford will play host to a match-up between two of Ireland's best up & coming professional featherweight. Andrew Murphy from Team RYANO will go head to head with Dylan Logan from Straight Blast Gym Ireland, each athlete representing one of the county's top two teams.

Andrew, the local favourite, will have massive support from the Waterford & Carlow fans and will be looking to bounce back from injury with a win.
Dylan will be determined to prevent that, as he looks to start building momentum for his own future glory.

Both fighters bring years of experience to the cage, and have the strongest coaching and support teams in the country.
Expect this match-up to be extremely exciting & fans potential fight of the night!

The team at BattleZone Fighting Championships schedule new date for debut WIT Arena show in Waterford.

The decision to move the date for our Waterford show comes as the scheduled IMMAA - Irish Mixed Martial Arts Association Team Trials experienced a number of cancelled fights that BattleZone FC was playing host to.
Matchmaker Deano Wade commented earlier today, ''Unfortunately, what started as fourteen trial fights ended in just three, as injuries and unavailability meant that eleven fighters had to withdraw from the selection process".

The remaining IMMAA Team Ireland trials will now take place at just one week later, on CAGE RING Championship, on September 17th at the The Wright Venue in Swords.

Alongside our Team Ireland trials, our professional main event, The Carlow Kid - Andy Murphy announced his unavailability, due to injury, for the September show. So as to accommodate the hometown favourite, we have made the decision to reschedule on a date when he is injury free. Commenting earlier today Andrew Murphy stated, ''I am obviously gutted to be out of action, I felt this was the perfect time to showcase my skill-set in my hometown, a small setback but the decision to reschedule the show means I can recover properly and look forward to a full training camp in preparation for the rescheduled event.''

A new date for our Waterford Arena show will be announced in the coming days.
