What a fantastic way to round off the year at Bective!

Our Festive Tennis & Padel Brunch delivered great matches, plenty of fun, and a wonderful atmosphere both on and off court. Despite the gloomy forecast, the sun appeared just in time, and with players and spectators ranging from 2 years old upwards, it truly was a day for everyone to enjoy.

Our Sunday Social with mulled wine and mince pies was also a great success — the perfect mix of tennis, laughter, and festive cheer. We’re delighted to continue the celebrations with another Sunday Social on 4th January, featuring mulled wine and festive treats — please register and join us. Our padel court has arrived this morning and unloading is underway!!

It’ll take another day to unload and then a week to install, with some time needed for the ground to settle properly.

President’s Day Highlights!

We had a fantastic day at Bective for the President’s Prize Day. There was great tennis and padel played! The competition was fierce at times but great fun. Nice serves (on and off the court!).

Well played to everyone who took part. we were so lucky with the day: sun, smashes, and smiles all around.

Great news! Work on our new padel court officially started 🎉 The installation will take around 5–6 weeks, but don’t worry, all existing courts remain fully open during this time. We can’t wait to unveil this exciting new addition to the club soon!

A Memorable Day at Naas Tennis and Padel Club!

On Sunday, under glorious weather, Naas Tennis and Padel Club hosted the Final of Division 2 of the inaugural Irish Padel League.
The atmosphere was electric ⚡️ as spectators gathered to witness this historic event!

Naas’ first pair, Peter Lowther (a former Davis Cup player) and Julian Morrison (longtime Naas tennis champion) displayed exceptional prowess, overcoming Bective in their match, leaving Bective fans anxious 😬.

Despite the pressure, Bective’s pair, Harvey and Pau, managed to prevail in a tight match, setting the stage for a championship tie break decider.

In the decisive face-off, Harvey and Pau squared off against Peter and Julian, who had secured the first match for Naas. The championship tie break was intense, but Bective emerged victorious, 10-6,  much to the delight of their supporters 🎉

The triumph filled everyone with pride, and special recognition is given to their Manager, Ross.

It was truly a wonderful achievement and a testament to the skill and determination of the Bective team!
