Makara Sankranti is a traditional harvest festival to celebrate the transition of Sun into Capricorn. On this occasion, ITA in line with the COVID regulations, is conducting Sankranthi Vedukalu on 15th January 2022 with limited bookings at VHCCI - it's a day of traditional and fun events for the entire family with dinner included. *Burra Katha* :
Oral storytelling technique in the Jangam Katha tradition, performed in villages of AP/Telangana.
The troupe consists of one main performer and two co-performers. It is a narrative entertainment that consists of prayers, solo drama, dance, songs, poems and jokes.
*Sridevi Burra Katha Brundam* will be performing at the virtual fund raiser event - organized by Ireland Telugu Associationon 29th May 2021.

Stage artists have been affected badly because there are currently no events where they can perform. *Ireland Telugu Association* are planning to help two such groups by organizing a virtual fund raiser event - _*కళాతోరణం*_ (_*KalaThoranam*_).
The artists of these groups would like to perform for the Telugu audience in Ireland and showcase their talent. You can watch the event virtually and donate generously to these groups.
