Sumo deadlifts π π π
My take on sumo deadlift after taking time to learn how to do it as best I can limiting injury and fatigue factors as much as humanly possible. πππ
I am by no means an expert at this lift I am always leaning and trying to progress but this may help some ppl. π€ π€ π€
A few tips I gave my friend and a 7 day progression within technique πͺπͺπͺ
Optimal stance positioning leverages more time n tension at the bottom trying to pull your rear delts back and not his lats down as is a common cue push slow be patient and finish fast n strong and get into that perfect triangle position dictated by ur leverages. π
Build the hip tension the max strength wonβt be there initially but accumulated build up is what is needed ie. reps and sets in the same position no yanking the bar slack out of the arms spread the floor. π½
Try to push the world away left and right aim on a been the tension starting and b being the goal of squeezing them but cheeks like u wanna crack a chest nut inbetween them. π
MAKE UR GRIP OPTIMAL: where the shoulder hangs is optimal grip width

Stay strong move fast and eliminate chances of injury. π
