It's with great pleasure we announce that our very own Dermot Byrne will be honored by the FAIreland for his services to football which have spanned over 50 years!

Dermot will receive this award at this year's delegates dinner in the Knightbrook Hotel in Trim July 26th.

Please join me in congratulating him along with his wife Marie Byrne for the dedication they have given to the sport.

Villa Celtic looking to go out with a bang for club hero Byrne - Dublin Gazette Newspapers - Dublin News, Sport and Lifestyle COOLOCK club Villa Celtic will close their doors for the final time next week, bringing to an end a 68-year history of amateur football in the area.

Just wanted to thank you all for getting in touch regarding the Party this weekend we've had a huge response with more than 100 people confirming their attendance which is sure to be a great night full of fun and a hell of a lot of stories! Check out the Dublin Gazette this Thursday for an exclusive interview.
