Wheels Within Wheels, laid out on a thick slab of Kilkenny Blue stone.

Masked, marked, and ready for the consaw to do the heavy lifting before our resident mason (and no, he doesn't work for free) whittles the pieces into a handful of magic.

This stone is deceptive. In shadow, it's mysterious, dark, and sultry; in bright sunlight, it comes alive with flashes of blue. You'll get to see both, as we won't be finishing these with a clear coat. They don't need one, and those natural tones are far too good to bury.

I've no idea how the guy on the left managed to park himself on a double (green) yellow line, but I'm sure he had his reasons. Now, If I Had A Reason...

Take A Little Time...

Gary Moore: Belfast-born, rock- and blues-master, guitar-hero and sorely missed dynamo of the blues-rock scene.

Wherever he went, whoever he played with... the may well have been friction, but it always came with that rarest creative frisson - an unequalled surge of sonic energy built on a deep well of heart-rending emotion, loss and longing.

He played lightning, and he played it with thunderous heart.

Here's our second Gary Moore statue, nearing completion, climbing the eternal stage only legends deserve.

Sun Catcher

A suncatcher: inspired by a commission from the early days, before Púca was even a twinkle in our eye.

Light, colourful and tougher than it looks, it's a grand way to brighten up a porch, conservatory, kitchen window, bedroom (😮), or anywhere else that could do with a bit of jazzing up.

Over the years we've made quite a few of them. from the Irish Wedge (pictured) to names, logos, club and clan crests, and even a couple of miniature stained-glass windows. Some of the requests have been wonderfully straightforward. Others have started with, "This might sound a bit mad, but..."

They all come with handy suction cups, so there's no messing about. Stick it up, stand back and admire your excellent taste.

The only catch? To see them at their absolute best, you'll need sunshine. As an Irish business, we're legally obliged to point out that this part is outside our control. (The French side of the business can be as snooty as it likes on the subject!!)

Still, when the sun does decide to show up, they put on a far better display than most of us manage after a long weekend.

Our Lemmy bust, originally in black (chrome or matt finish) but also produced to order as a hand-painted special of our favourite all-snarling, growling, in-your-face legend bridging punk and hard (as an iron cross) rock.

We had a few with his equally iconic Street Cowboy and Cavalry hats.

For this pic, we couldn't find a Heinkel bomber - there's one around here somehwhere, honest - but a Bf 109 is standing in. Lemmy would've approved.

We'll leave the last words to the man himself:

'I ain't got no regrets.'

If The Day Was Any Longer

Rory Gallagher: a small print from our Rock Art collection.

This joins a handful of the other extras which somehow find their way into every order.

Keen-eyed observers may also notice the deliberately blurred moulds in the background. They've been in development for some time, repeatedly returned to the back burner as one challenge after another arose - most recently, logistics.

For now, they're staying under wraps. But the furnace is roaring, and you can almost feel the hot metal.

Fingers-crossed we can get this In Your Town soon...

Slash'n'Grab

We're ahead of the posse for Guns'n'Roses World Tour, which hits Dublin next week, and includes Slash, Axl and Duff onstage.

Here is the first bust we produced of Guns'n'Roses axeman Slash.

It features plenty of rock'n'roll trimmings: the signature tophat, nose-ring plus a discreet plec-slot to add FUNctionality to the sculpt.

As is our habit, it was available in metallic finishes as well as a full-colour, hand-painted piece.

If you're heading to the 3Arena next week - have a little patience and a great time ;)

Rusty Nails It!

Throwing it back to Rusty, the much-loved character we worked on for Kinnegar Brewing.

This playful graphic sees the brewery’s beloved hound taking to the skies once again, this time without his trusty biplane.

Creating Rusty through custom 3D modelling and sculpting was a bundle of fun, and remains one of our favourite character projects from last year.

We’re sure he’s still turning heads and having a ball around County Donegal. 🐾✈️🍻

A day late (but it's technically the first working day of the month after the holiday yesterday)

This month is shaping up to be another busy one, with plenty of new arrivals finally making their way into the store.
