Hi everyone! So after a long hiatus I’ve made some decisions about this page .. I have just started a new job and I’m just so busy... while I will still be showing some reworking and crafts sporadically, I will be also be using it on a more personal basis, rather than selling.. I love interacting with followers on here. The reworked Jewellery market is really quiet right now for various reasons, the popularity has sent prices for parts so high. I will still be reworking and up-cycling whenever I get time and also the chance to get products at a reasonable price. Thanks to everyone for your support up to this point. I’m looking forward to the next chapter 🥰

I’m usually not someone who’s lost for words but I’m finding it difficult to articulate anything about this tragedy… so I’ll just say this.. when my son first came out to me, I honestly never had a moment where I wasn’t absolutely supportive but I did have some feelings.. the biggest of which was fear.. everytime he went out at night at first I would worry, would he meet the wrong person or the wrong group of people on the way home.. a few years on I could tell myself I’m just being paranoid.. it’s 2022, it’s not the 80s anymore.. but this has just hit me like a ton of bricks.. I can’t even imagine what the families and friends of and are going through right now. My heart breaks for them.
There are vigils happening across the country over the next few days and I would urge anyone who can to show their support.

Happy International Women’s day to all the inspirational and amazing women I know. And to all the women that have come before and paved the way. There are just too many to name.
The theme for 2022 is about breaking down the biases and assumptions that we all have in our daily lives.

Don’t be afraid to buy a vintage lock.. they are usually pretty easy to fix up.... I absolutely love cleaning these locks.. it’s so very satisfying to see the years of grime come off… they look so clean and shiny after a few minutes…
