Congrats to all the shooters from the many clubs across Ireland who will shooting at the Irish Open and those who will be representing Ireland in the IGRF International match at Fermoy Rifle and Pistol Club in July.
The NASRPC are proud to announce the National Teams that will represent Ireland for the 2025 IGRF International Competitions at the NASRPC Irish Open.
The Smallbore Gallery Rifle (GRSB), and Centrefire Gallery Rifle (GRCF) Team events will take place on Saturday, 5 July at Fermoy Rifle & Pistol Club.
Congratulations to all those representing their country for the first time and those who will be wearing the Team Ireland shirt once again.
An additional congratulations to Julie Moran from Fermoy Rifle & Pistol Club on being the first woman to represent Ireland at the IGRF matches! A true milestone that highlights how inclusive this sport is—men and women competing side by side on the same team.

BRC Shooting Club National NASRPC shoot June 2025.
Well done to all the CRSO’s, RO’s, Helpers and Support Staff who ran a tight and efficient schedule over the weekend of shooting in the foothills of South Dublin.
We knew the shoot would be busy with +28 people on standby with all slots booked out fast.
We met old friends and saw some new faces and had some BRC members shooting their first national event.
The prone and benchrest bays were full and our turning targets system had a really good workout on the gallery rifle and pistol competitions.
Match Stats:
67 individual competitors, from 15 clubs, shooting 23 distinct disciplines, in 58 classes.
A total of 345 individual matches shot with over 12,630 rounds hitting or missing the ‘X’ not including sighters.
The largest entries were for OSBPMT, OSBP25P, GRSBTP1, OSBPTP1 followed by SBPTP1, SBP25P and GRSBMT. We noticed over the last few years with BRC being a ‘must go to’ event for Irish pistol shooters. Maybe the extra challenge of the Turning Targets system is an incentive to shoot in BRC!
The weather was mostly good with a few shooters and RO’s on the line caught out in the rain on both days.
Well done to Brian, Paul, Nicky, Alan and Tony running the Prone, Benchrest and Silhouette bays and the Bat Team of Rebecca, Vitaly and Vlad in the ‘greenhouse’ that was the Stats Cave, a big thanks to our very own Oliver for jumping in to complete the Benchrest scoring.
A big thanks to our car park attendants Liam, Adrian, John and Michael.
The Turning Target system worked well and allowed the CRSO’s and RO’s run quick schedules. We ended up adding 8 extra MT, 6 extra 25P and 4 extra TP1 matches.
A great job by the Range 3 team with Martin our scoresheet/stats runner our RO’s Marie, Anthony, Ed, Oliver, Tom and Ray and CRSO’s Rick, Alan and Frank.
A big thanks to the BRC Committee (Alan, Brian, Paul, Alan and Vitaly) and those club members who put in hours of work on our monthly work details, getting the range and facilities ready for this event.
Congratulations to East Coast Shooting Club who were the winners of the Kiel cup with 7 teams competing for this prestigious trophy.
The trophy was presented by BRC Chairman Brian Kelly to Anthony Fagan on behalf of East Coast Shooting Club.

Always a great weekend shooting and catching up with old friends on some fantastic ranges.
Wishing Harbour House Sports Club and your members all the best in running what is always a great competition.
There are still a few days to get your smallbore and centefire pistols, your smallbore and centrefire gallery rifles, your classic rifle, your centrefire rifle, your target shotguns and your benchrest rifles cleaned and checked prior to the weekend - looking forward to seeing you on the line :).
18 fi****ms will get you through all of the above :), yes of course you need more :)

A brilliant sunny, warm day on all BRC ranges.
This was probably our busiest day of a national shoot in a few years.
Huge thanks to our club volunteer CROs, ROs and Helpers who got everyone through their details and ran more than a few extra ones to introduce competitors to some more exotic disciplines like the Single handed pistol 25m precision.
The club members put in a huge effort to get our clubhouse and ranges ready for this event.
We did our best to ensure all our visitors had a chance to shoot some extra disciplines beyond what they had booked at registration.
A big thanks to our friends from the national shooting community from every corner of the country who turned up and supported us from Fermoy , Bracken gun club , Lifford, East Coast Shooting Club Courtlough Shooting Grounds Hilltop Gun Shop & Ranges Harbour House Sports Club and many more clubs and individuals. We really appreciate you all making the effort to come to Tallaght, South Co, Dublin.
Rebecca played a blinder in the Stats engine room scoring and updated the stats software.
Tomorrow is a little less busy however there are still a few spare lanes across each range so you might be lucky and get a chance to shoot and still have the bank holiday Monday to recover.
More pictures to follow tomorrow.
BRC designer cup cakes are on the closing ceremony menu tomorrow.

We will however host a novelty 'Mixed Skills Competition".

Each animal = 10 points.
