Dublin Cycling Campaign is all set for Bloom 2026!

We will be collaborating with Healthy Ireland in running the supervised bicycle parking alongside the main entrance to the Bord Bia Bloom festival -- starting on Thursday 28 May and running until Monday 01 June.

Cycling to the festival in the Phoenix Park makes so much sense because you can avoid motor traffic congestion, park right beside the entrance -- and you can meet the lovely folk from Irish Cycling Campaign at the bike park!

Thanks to the lovely crew from Harold's Cross Festival for welcoming Dublin Cycling Campaign to their 2026 Festival on Saturday last.

Such a nice vibe at it -- a very relaxed and friendly atmosphere -- and we had a good chats with many people who arrived there on their bikes and cargo-bikes.

We're looking forward to hearing big ideas for speeding up cycle route delivery in City Hall tomorrow. Progress on building a decent cycle network's been painfully slow.

Living in Dublin Central? Make sure you get out and vote tomorrow!

We encourage you to consider voting for those candidates who you think are most likely to address challenges around improving active and public transport provision (both at a national level, not just in Galway and Dublin), decarbonising transport and improving the liveability of our cities.

Whoever you decide to vote for, hop on your bike and at the voting station take a photo of your bike and post it with the hashtag .

The Irish Cycling Campaign welcomes publication of the RSA's collisions map. The multi-annual delay in publication due to purported GDPR issues has been deeply concerning.

This data is vital for planning, engineering, policing and many other decision-making processes. A 'vital tool' indeed.

We would remind authorities that areas where no VRU collisions occur are often the areas most hostile/ dangerous for walking and cycling.
