Piranha Bar mixes it up in a new collab with our friends at RTÉ for the centenery celebration of Irish Public Service Broadcasting. This ambitious journey through the decades blends daringly eclectic animation styles to capture key moments and memories as the broadcast signal evolves from a crackling voice on radio to the multi-faceted digital services of today. Where else can you see Nelson Mandela and the Pope rubbing shoulders with Wanderly Wagon and Linda Martin?

As our sodden country tilts away from the sun and the schools reopen to swallow our younglings, it's time once more for the longest running chat show on earth to return to our screens.

We had a blast with the fantastic Patrick Kielty and Cupid the owl, creating a Late Late Show amuse-bouche in advance of the new season. This time around, we find Patrick solving the world's problems in a late night bar accompanied by his somewhat disengaged feathered mascot.

Cupid the owl deserves a nomination for best supporting bird of prey (nocturnal category) for his thespian antics, although it did take our 3D creature team's magic to have him drag a cocktail and nick a cherry.

Salutations to RTÉ Exec CD john kilkenny who thanks to his impressive knowledge also doubled as the drink sliding consultant. Big shout out to DOP Burschi Wojnar and a great crew from RTE who somehow made two bars look like one. Direction by our own Gavin Kelly, produced by Aileen Heavey and Hayley Roche, with Eric Dolan on 3D and Aidan O'Leary comping.
