Bike Anjo is a cyclistβs lovers network that promotes, mobilizes and helps people use the bicycle as a means of transport within the cities.
We believe that the bike is a social transformation tool and the more people using it to commute the better our cities would be. To sum up, Bike Anjo aims to:
- create a chain of goodness
- give support to an organic, spontaneous, collaborative and voluntary network

Are you ready for the winter rides?
It is JUST autumn and we can already feel some fresh air (the least), right?
Oh and rain, of course, because we're in Ireland πβπ
We're here to help you remember some important items π
- gloves, warm and preferrably waterproof
- helmet, add a high vis cover if you can
- high vis jacket
- protecting glasses, clear/transparent is helpful to keep water away
- lights, always! white/yellow for front and red for rear
- trousers, warm and preferrably waterproof
- raincoat, warm, waterproof shall we? heheh
- scarf or balaclava, your neck deserve!
- rain boots, or good waterproof shoes

What do we do? We make dreams come on wheels π

What can a Bike Anjo do?
We can give you guidance to build and to ride a bike. No matter what age you are, children, adults, elderly.
We can help you to find the best route to work, home, school, shopping your needs.
We can help you to learn how to do yourself basic mechanics on your bike, such as changing tube, puncture fix, change and adjust your breaks, set up your gears, oil and take care of your chains.

"This one of the spots in my holidays around Ireland. I decided to cycle the cost of the island, it took me two weeks and the best trip ever, I saw so many beautiful places. Some days I wanted to gave up but with some help of my friends I got through it. I strongly recommend it."

We commit to help and encourage others to stay safe. Also, to encourage everyone's mental health, those who are interested in learning or practicing cycling within their 5km we may provide online guidance to help you meet your needs!

Bike Anjo is a network built by volunteer cyclists that encourages the use of bicycles as means of transport in cities and seeks to make people riding happier and safely.
These core purposes and values were collaboratively built by our Brazilian National Articulation and Bike Anjoβs Pedivela Articulation, resorting the values debate discussed at the 1ΒΊ National Meeting of Bike Anjo e the core values of Bike Anjo DF (Distrito Federal, Bike Anjo group in Brazilβs capital) and present guidelines of the essential practices to a good coexistence among Bike Anjo members, either in local, national or international community.
Our values are alive and may be updated by the volunteers as new needs may come up.
The most important is itβs meaningful to you. As you read it you feel embraced by our group and inspired to collaborate for the collective good in the best possible way!
