The Irish National Sailing Club was formed in January 2015 by course graduates and staff of the Irish National Sailing & Powerboat School. The club's ethos is centered around "pay small, play big, enjoy hugely". Happy New Year to all our members! We’re incredibly excited to see what 2026 has in store for our sailing community
To kick off the year, we’ve added an extra sailing session this Saturday, 3rd January on both keelboats and dinghies. Places are filling up fast, so be sure to book quickly and start the year out on the water!

Unfortunately, due to another Gale Warning today, we’ve had to cancel sailing once again this weekend.
That said, don’t give up on winter sailing just yet! When the conditions are good, they’re really good!!
All it takes is wrapping up warm and heading out for a proper blast when the weather allows

Yesterday evening, the West Pier Sailing Club hosted our annual Christmas Party and AGM. It was a wonderful night where members gathered to raise a glass to an exceptional year -one that saw our successful rebrand from the Irish National Sailing Club to the West Pier Sailing Club. Plenty of laughs were shared, and the atmosphere reflected the strong community spirit that defines our club.
We are delighted to announce the appointment of our new Commodore, Robin Jones, and we extend our sincere thanks to our outgoing Commodore, James Linton, for his tremendous service and dedication over the past few years.

It’s that time of year again where the J80s are back on the marina for the winter, but we’re still sailing strong! We’ve got two boats heading out this morning and this afternoon, plus a fleet of dinghies on the water.
