We would also like to take the opportunity to thank Derek Hoey for all his hard work and commitment with the Saturday side for the past few years. Due to politics and rules within the league he was unable to end on a title winning season. His efforts a long with Gerry hendrix gave tymon bawn Saturdays a very successful season and here's hoping we go one step further this year.
From all at tymon bawn we would like to again thank Derek for all he has done.

So the season has finally come to a close and it's been a season of complete pain and anguish for both senior aides.
Our Saturday side lost the league on goal difference due to the removal of Corduff fc from the league with two games to go. It was ours to win but due to all previous results being expunged following the removal of a team we found ourselves on the end of a short straw. Balbriggan gained from it and we suffered , something we will struggle to get over. To top the disappointment of we lost to rush tonight in the cup quarter final.
Our Sunday side had a season of no ups just downs until the last two games of the season. A defeat in either would have seen us relegated for the first time in 10 years but two victories in the last two games saved us and we are staying up for the coming year.
A disappointing year in general at the end of the day but onwards and upwards for all

Tymon Bawn fc have always been a team of the community and supplied footbaling facilities for people young and old.. over the past few years we have lost our youth sides and now have 2 senior teams and an over 35 team... these teams are currently the back bone of the club.. however we would now like to bring back the youth/future of tymon Bawn and are looking to set up an under 10 side for the coming season. If any body has a son/daughter/niece or nephew they would like to get involved please contact Gary McEvoy on 0858568355.. please share this post

Took the chance to take in our division 3a Saturday side game today away to Mt merrion in Rosemount. Couldn't have been happier I did.
Currently top of the table we knew that it was a huge game as merrion are a team also chasing glory this season. They start the brightest and took an early lead.. we just couldn't seem to find any rhythm and with 10 to go in the first half we conceded another goal one which can only be described as a self inflicted goal due to lack of communication...
Going into the second half at 2-0 down the uphill battle looked harder and harder. We continued to struggle putting 5 passes together but what we did find was a bit of fight... realising that the game was getting away from us we began to push higher up the pitch putting pressure on their defence from kick outs and throw ins. It paid off with 15 to go when we broke down play in the middle of the park and attacked with a resulting goal...
Chances came but it looked like it wasn't gonna happen until a break down the left and a very tight angled shot hit the back of the net with literally the last touch of the match.
2-2 it finished and a point in the bag...
If victorious at the end of the season, today is a day we'll look back at and be thankfull of fighting for 90 minutes.
Onwards and upwards

Gavin white of Aherns pub tallaght presenting our Sunday manager Brian Murphy with our new kit.

Fantastic result for managers Derek Hoey and Gerry Hendrix with their Saturday side winning 3-2 in an extremely tough game keeping themselves at the summit of division 3a.
Our Sunday side had another disappointing loss in a game that could have went either way. We could see new manager Brian Murphy's ideas taking shape so hopefully things turn our way soon.
No game for the 35's

I'd like to sincerely thank Gary Mcevoy for the years of dedication, commitment and joy he afforded the club, selflessly and for the enjoyment of so many players that passed through this team. There is no doubt that Tymon Bawn would not exist without the work and effort he has put into the club. He is a credit to the club and community and (although he has been doing it for years as club secretary) I'm delighted that he has agreed to become the official chairman of the club. Gary will be a huge asset in this capacity and I'm sure he will have the full support of all involved. Well done Gary on the years and tears of managing the Sunday side for so long! C'mon Tymon!
