With the weather picking up and some Level 5 restrictions lifting this week we have had more of you enquiring when Wakedock will be re-opening. Unfortunately, while we would be ready to go as soon as possible, we have been affected by the challenging insurance situation in Ireland.
Like so many other activity providers we have yet to secure insurance renewal for this season and while we are exploring multiple avenues, right now it is not possible for us to open up. We know that this is disappointing news for many of you, but after the latest developments of even more insurers leaving the Irish market it has become a slow process that is largely out of our control.
We can’t wait to get back on the water as soon as possible and are doing all we can to make this happen. We will keep you posted.

That’s a wrap on a very strange season. We are extremely grateful that as an outdoor business we were able to open and run and bring a smile to our customers faces - young and old. Thank you so much to all our operators who made sure things ran smoothly and to all of our customers who chose us for an adrenaline filled fun time on the water. We will be back in March 2021 and we can’t wait for it. We might see you on the water elsewhere in the meantime and otherwise next year when we’re back. Stay safe, Nina and Colin

We had great (non watersports related) excitement in our house this weekend. Thanks to the amazing Fíonnadh's Bakeitecture for creating this gorgeous cake for the twins’ birthday! 🐶 Two very happy boys.
