This is the last pic I have of me in Urdhva Dhanurasana(wheel/crab pose) this image was taken back in May of this year!!
In early June I did some bad damage to my right ribcage over training and not listening to my body..
Again in July I managed to repeat the exact same injury, due to my impatience and stubborn personalityπŸ˜³πŸ™ˆ(yes I know)
This frustrated and upset me.
The next day I took some time out to revisit all areas of my practice, I had to make sure this did not happen again!!
I had to sit out of this posture and watch my fellow teachers and students, practice this while I watched.
Sooooo after a long 5 months, Urdhva Dhanurasana is back in my practice πŸ™πŸ€—πŸŽ‰
Life can throw many obstacles at you, as tough as the last 5 months has been dealing with this injury and modifying my practice I have come out stronger in all areas from asanas to pranayama..
Sometimes we need to take a step back in to move forward. πŸ’›βœ”οΈβ­οΈ
