Week 2:

Monday marked the start of another great week of our Dalkey Hockey Summer Camp 🏑

On Monday Day 1 we focused on mastering the fundamentals, refining key skills and incorporate them into technical drills. 🤩

We then put those skills into practice through a range of fun games and engaging drills before finishing the day with plenty of matches. 🏆 🏑 🥳

Dalkey Hockey Club Summer Camp!
Week 1: Friday

Last Friday we had our annual water sports fun day at Dalkey Hockey summer camp 🙌💦🎈 To start the day off we began with our matches as each team competed to win 1st and 2nd place on the leader board!!!

The second half of the day was all about water fun! Everyone took part in hockey obstacle courses, relay races, and team challenges before finishing the day off with a huge water fight involving all the kids and coaches, a perfect way to round off the week! 💦🤪🏊‍♀️🏑

The day finally concluded with our group dance performances and prize giving. Well done to everyone who took part this week, bring on week 2 !!!

Dalkey Hockey Club Summed Camp!
Week 1: Monday - Thursday ☀️ 🏑

First week back at our Dalkey hockey Summer camp has been an absolute blast 🙌. From Day 1 we focused on our basic skills and tactics which were incorporated into different themes of drills through out the week such as defensive, attacking and 3D.

It was fantastic to see everyone working hard, growing in confidence, progressing in skills and making new friends along the way 💕🏑⭐️

Elite tournament in Kilkenny Day 2 🏑

On day 2 our girls were much stronger in the plate competition, seeing the girls finish on level points and level goal difference with Railway but unfortunately Railway had 1 goal scored leaving us to claim 2nd place.

The girls enjoyed a well earned swim at the Newpark Hotel in the morning before day 2 🏊‍♀️
This gave the players the chance to bond, make new friends and new memories off the pitch ❤️ Lots of fun had, new friends made and loads of skills shown. Elite Hockey Cup

Elite tournament in Kilkenny Day 1 🏑

A tough opening day at the Elite Hockey Cup for our 1st & 2nd years, joined by a few of our 6th class girls.

The girls faced some strong opposition in the pool stages and finished 4th out of 5 teams. They showed great determination, plenty of skills and they never stopped working hard showing off fantastic teamwork 🙌

Well done on completing day 1 girls !!!

Cork Trip 2026 🍀🏑
What a weekend. From the hockey on the pitch to the laughs off the pitch, we will be talking about this trip for years❤️

Playing against Cork Harliquins and Ashton Hockey Club was such a brilliant experience. There were tough games, great hockey, amazing atmosphere and endless amounts of fun had.

Massive thanks to everyone who welcomed us and made the trip soo memorable 🙌

Off the pitch we had team nights that consisted of bowling and going out for dinner — so many new memories made with such an amazing team 🎳

From early morning starts to late-night chats, it all added to an amazing few days away. New friendships formed as well as team spirit making the experience even more special ❤️

So grateful for everyone who made this trip happen. Cork 2026 was one to remember 🇮🇪✨

Last Sunday our 1st year 1’s lost their semi final match against Kilkenny 3-0.

The 1st year 1’s faced a very tough match against Kilkenny, holding them off for the majority of the match, however in the end they were defeated. Regardless of the score board we are over the moon that our 1st year 1’s made it this far in their league !! It is such an achievement 🤗

We cannot wait to see what next season brings ! Everyone from Dalkey hockey is very proud 💕 keep up the fantastic work !!

6th class 1’s are the winners of the Division 2 Leinster league 🏆

What a season for the 6th Class A Hockey Team 😊
Hard work, teamwork, and determination paid off last Sunday as they brought home the Leinster Hockey League title after an intense match VS Genesis who they defeated 4-2.
We are soo proud of every single player! Each one of them gave it there all through out the entire season and their hard work paid off !! 💕

We are all soo proud of you and exited to see what next season brings 👏 Thank you to everyone who was able to come and support and for a fantastic season of hockey 🏑
