One week ago, this group achieved something truly special – winning the World Medical Football Cup 2025.

From the first whistle to the final penalty, every player, coach, and staff member gave everything – not just for the result, but for each other. This was a victory built on trust, resilience, and countless hours of work behind the scenes.

A huge thank you to the Irish organising committee for hosting an unforgettable tournament, and to the Irish medical football team for an incredible final played in the right spirit. Your hospitality, warmth, and sportsmanship were second to none.

CHAMPIONS OF THE WORLD 🌍🏆
After a dramatic final against hosts Ireland, we held our nerve to win 7-6 on penalties following a full-time draw 🇮🇪⚽️

An incredible team effort and a moment of pride for everyone involved. A huge achievement built on resilience, belief, and unity 👊

A huge effort from the team yesterday – a 1-1 draw with Australia, coming from behind to equalise after relentless pressure ⚽️

We held our nerve to win 4-2 on penalties, booking our place in the semi-finals 👊

Special shoutout to C. Gilespie for another outstanding performance in goal – saving 3 out of 4 penalties he’s faced this tournament 🧤🧱
