Fionn Byrne came in 3rd place and received bronze medals for both of his 50 Back and 100 Free performances! 🥉🥉
Isaac Fitzmaurice came in 1st place in his 100 Free swim! 🥇

Day 3 of Summer Nationals brought in many amazing performances and happy faces for team NAC! 😁 A few action shots taken again from todays afternoon session.
In the 50 back, we have Matthew Walsh Hussey and Kristian Nyland racing in the B final and both Fionn Byrne and Oisin Tebite in the A final!
In the 200 breast, Ryan McGinley and Sophie McCormack will be racing in the B final and Daniel Lynam will be in the A final!
In the 100 free, Daire O’Neill will be racing in the B final, as well as Fionn Byrne, Kelly-Ann Brown, Matthew Walsh Hussey again, and Isaac Fitzmaurice in a tight battle in the A final.
A big good luck and well done to all the swimmers!
Team NAC were in top form today on Day 2 of Nationals.
Both Kelly-Anne Brown and Isaac Fitzmaurice made Superfinals, Kelly Ann in the 100 fly, taking home a bronze medal and Isaac in the 50 free.
Other finalists today were Ryan Mc Ginley & Fionn Byrne in the 50 free, with Fionn winning a bronze medal.
Robert Trinchinet 200 Back. Sophie Mc Cormack, Daniel Lynam and Daire O'Neill in the 100 Fly, and Sophie again in 200 IM.
Enes Taha Doner, although not eligible to swim, also made it into the 50 free and 100 fly finals.
There were plenty of improvement certificates awarded too. Keeva Killeen and Annabel Farrington Knight for their 200 IM, Enes Taha Doner & Nathan Caulfield 50 free.

Our swimmers will be heading off to Limerick on Wednesday for the Irish Summer Nationals Age Group Championships.
They were presented with their Manguard Plus sponsored t shirts this evening.

After a successful 12 days in Fuerteventura on a training camp they are now home
It was a tough 12 days having mainly double sessions with gym worked inbetween. The days the swimmers had the afternoon off they got to spend some time at the pool for aqua aerobics, mini golf, and a dinner out in the town.
Our mini golf tournament was won by Matthew, Avice, Robert and Sophie. With the OAP team coming in second
Well done to all the swimmers who attended the training camp and a massive thank you to the team managers,who looked after the swimmers, and finally a big thank you to our coaches

With this also being the clubs 20th year it was extra special

Despite the early start there was loads of pbs, medals and excellent swims all around. Everyone was very supportive and there was great teamwork across the board, which created a spectacular atmosphere for all.
After all the hard work at the gala the swimmers got to enjoy a fun evening of bowling
Well done to Alex Yanovych who won silver in 50 fly Stefan Calinoiu who won Silver in 100 breast and gold in 50 breast and Daragh Kelly who won silver 200 fly. Daniel Lynam won 3 gold medals in 200 and 100 breast and 200 im. He also won a bronze in 200 free

What a fantastic start to the club trip down to Arklow for the Asgard Gala
Leaving the Nac at 11.30 this morning the swimmers got checked into the hotel just after 12.45, grabbing a quick lunch before heading down to the pool for their warm up at 3.30
Starting off the meet with plenty of medals and pbs the swimmers are doing great
Back to the hotel the swimmers head with dinner at 7.30 and will all things going to plan they’ll be in bed with lights out at 10pm
Thanks to the all the parents, team managers and coaches who help make trips like this possible and also a big thank you to Asgard for having us down!!
