Who are CrafTea? CrafTea is made up of Laura Steerman and Ali Coghlan. We love all things Craftea and both being mothers we understand just how hard it is to try and come up with original ideas for kids parties year after year. CrafTea Parties was launched after some successful trial runs with mums and kids. We are both bursting with ideas and committed to make your childs next party a very special day. The idea for CrafTea Parties came from a general love of inspirational and easy crafts. With some opportunities to do host some craft parties for local children we knew we were on to a good thing when we got the feedback! What Crafts do you do? We do cookie decorating, t-shirt stamping design and painting and many more on request. Each party can be tailored for boys/girls or both, age-groups and abilities. We have hundreds of unique, colourful, quirky and exciting craft ideas – none of which you need to be any way an expert to make or even a crafty person to enjoy getting stuck into. Were pretty confident from experience that even the shyest, non-crafty, or super-active kids of any age will thoroughly enjoy a CrafTea Party. We go to the moon and back to ensure our parties are fun lively, interesting and inspiring and everyone gets a chance to let loose, get CrafTea and have a laugh with their buddies. When will CrafTea arrive & leave from my house/venue? We arrive around 15-20 minutes before the party so we can set up all the crafts, decorations and treats so it's all ready to go by the time the guests arrive. All going well, it will take 10 minutes to tidy up after the party afterwards. How long to parties last? The CrafTea party is an hour and a half long so most parents leave add an extra half an hour on to serve the kids food before the other parents collect their kids. eg. 2pm-4pm (Craftea will be there from 1.45-3.30pm)

Where are the parties held? That's completely up to you. We are happy to come to your house and set up everything and clean up afterwards or if you would prefer to have the party in a local community hall or venue please contact us and we will help you arrange it. Any venue charges are additional. Do I need to provide anything? No you just need to provide the venue and the space to do the crafts. We come fully prepared with tablecloths to protect your furniture and funky aprons for the kids to protect their clothes as much as possible although old clothes are advised to be worn. Does CrafTea provide anything other than Crafts? Oh we sure do!!!!!! CrafTea provides a Crazy Photobooth with tons of cool fancydress props including wigs, masks, feather boas, hats, bubbles on request etc.. We also have a Craftea photograper on hand to capture all the funny moments. All the kids take home their crafts in a CrafTea party bag provided. Parents can add more items to the party bags or we can provide filled party bags if needed at a small additional price. We also have a Birthday wishing tree for all the friends to leave birthday messages for the birthday girl/boy and loads of sweet treats and jellies for the kids to eat. We also provide personalised CrafTea Birthday Invitations included in the party package. My son is mad into Pirates, can you do a pirate themed Craftea Party? Yes we can tailor our CrafTea parties for any theme you like given enough notice. Please contact us at [email protected] to discuss and get more details of how we can make the dream come true! Do I need to pay a deposit? Yes we require a €50 deposit at the time of the booking and the balance paid on the day of the party. We can accept cheques and CrafTea uses PayPal or online transfer (just please be sure to quote your surname in the reference number). Will I lose my deposit if I cancel? If you cancel within 3 weeks of your party you will lose 20% of your deposit, within two weeks you love 50% of your deposit and within the week of the party you will lose the full deposit


The whole class needs to be invited.. any discounts for large numbers of 25+? Dont worry - Come talk to us and we will work something out with you. Large parties of 25+ kids will naturally differ from the CrafTea parties which are usually held and designed for 10-15 kids so we will need to make a special project plan for the supplies, running order of the day, craft activities etc. But don’t worry, it can be done! Give us plenty of notice of the date and required numbers, ages etc. and we will provide you with a quote and CrafTea Plan of Action for the Party in advance so you can assess everything. We’ll take into account the scale involved of kids, crafts, venue required, logistics and will be sure to give you the best value we can. After all, more the merrier. Can adults get involved at a CrafTea Party? Adults who are guardians or parents of the guests can get involved as little or as much as they like in a CrafTea Party. Sit back relax, or get involved helping your child to decorate their cookies - but remember eat one at your peril!!!
