What a way to close out the competition year! 🥋🔥
17 of our SD athletes took to the mats in Waterford last weekend for the Karate Ireland National Championships, giving it everything in the hunt for national titles.
Every student has trained relentlessly all year, and it showed in their performances.
A huge thank-you to Karate Ireland for hosting another fantastic event.
To top it all off, top of the medal table🎉
We are incredibly proud of our students and everything they continue to achieve!

🏆IKU European Championships🏆
What an incredible time for SDK at the Europeans! A team of 17 of our students competed at the highest level. For some, their very first time and what an experience it was. Every single one gave their all on the tatami, and we couldn’t be prouder💙

A huge thank you to Karate Ireland, our amazing coaching team, and the ever-supportive parents who stand behind our athletes every step of the way🇮🇪
To our 17 unbelievable SD legends, you are simply outstanding. Training together up to four nights a week, pushing one another to grow stronger, and showing unity, respect, and courage in every moment; that is what defines our dojo. You carried each other in spirit, stood tall under pressure, and embodied everything we strive to teach. We are beyond proud as your Sensei’s. ❤️

Final preparations are complete for our athletes travelling to compete in the European Championships this week!🇮🇪
A final squad session was held in Carlow, where we put the finishing touches on our kata and kumite. 🥋💥
We also held a special presentation evening to thank Mannings Construction Group for their generous sponsorship and support of our students travelling to Poland. 🙌
And of course, we couldn’t finish without our annual presents and cupcake tradition💚

We’re thrilled to announce the 17 SD athletes that have been selected for the Karate Ireland National Team. They will represent Ireland at the IKU European Championships in Szczecin, Poland - competing in the Netto Arena from the 23rd-26th of October. 🇵🇱🥋
These incredible students have shown outstanding dedication and determination throughout the year — now they’re ready to take to the tatami and make their country proud. 💪
We couldn’t be prouder and wish each of them the very best of luck on this amazing journey! 🍀
