When exercising, remember to get a good warm-up and finish off with a slow cool-down. This is important to prevent injury and is easy to accomplish no matter where you are. Walking/jogging on the spot works well for both your warm-up and cool-down routine.

Exercise elevates dopamine receptors in the brain, It also increases endorphins in the body. Which means regular exercise can help prevent depression, reduce stress, and strengthen the mind just as much as it strengthens the body. 👍

Beautiful morning at the Rathfarnham 5k, it wasn't our toughest challenge but signing up for a 5k is a great way to start or get back into exercise.

Rather than committing to an unrealistic exercise programme that involves you being in the gym five times per week, planning two or three sessions to start with is going to be more sustainable.
