I started a walk/run 5k page. Just wanted to see if anyone on my page might be interested. Have a read, see what you think πŸ˜ŠπŸ§˜β€β™€οΈπŸ§˜β€β™‚οΈπŸ€Έβ€β™€οΈπŸ€Έβ€β™‚οΈ

Hey folks. So I was talking to 1 or 2 clients and we were talking about the nice bright evenings coming in. And we got to saying about getting out in the fresh air. I was thinking about doing a 5k walk or jog or whatever suits each person.
Just wanted to see if anyone interested in getting out in the fresh air. This isn't a bootcamp, it's not a race and its timed by you if you choose to.
There's millions of beautiful places like Marley park for one. I do the hellfire club most weeks and the views are amazing. But we could do one venue for a number of weeks and change it to keep it interesting.
I'm literally seeing who's up for it so feel free to invite anyone into the group you think might like to get out in the fresh air.
I was thinking either an evening during the week or a Saturday afternoon. Bring the kids if you like (as long as they are supervised) any young lil babies bring them along in the prams or whatever. As I said, just a bit of outdoor exercise. Do whatever you want. Walk, run, kart wheeling it would be ok too if you can πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚
I just flew down through some of my FB friends and invited a few to see so feel free to add anyone in you think might like to join in.

Good afternoon everyone. Been tipping away in the gym with clients. Just said id give a shout and see how everyone is. So I always said this page was never going to be for sales and clients etc. All about sharing a bita knowledge from both our sides. I'm going to start posting videos of different things like classes I'm doing and how they're structured. Maybe demo a few exercises etc.

*** Approximately 7 adult sized portions, containing ~500 calories each for only 15 euro ***

GroFitness Protein Rich Paella

Nutritional Content (per serving)

- 509 cal
- 64 g of carbohydrates
- 12.9 g of fat
- 33.5 g of protein

Ingredients

- 4x chicken breasts
- 300 g of peeled cooked ready to eat prawns
- 1x ring of Spanish chorizo
- 500 g of Arborio rice
- 1x green pepper
- 1x red pepper
- 1x yellow pepper
- 1.5 cups of frozen peas
- 3x cloves of garlic
- 1-2 tsp of tumeric
- 1-2 tsp smoked paprika
- 1 pint of fish stock
- 1x tin of chopped tomatoes

Instructions

1) Heat 3 tbsp. of olive oil/rapeseed oil in a pan and fry off finely diced garlic and onion
2) Add the chopped chorizo, tumeric and smoked paprika until the chorizo releases its flavours
3) Add diced chicken and then chopped peppers
4) Make a pint of fish stock and add this, the tin of chopped tomatoes and uncooked Arborio rice to the pan (the rice will absorb all of the moisture and flavour while cooking)
5) Finally add the peeled prawns and frozen peas and once heated thoroughly serve.

Portion the meal evenly between 7 containers and enjoy!!!

Should I do weights for fat burn????
HELL YES!!!!

This is 2 training sessions done by myself. The thing to pay attention to is the percentage of fat burn per session. The strength training is on the left. And on the right hand corner says of that it says 52%. That means for half that session I'm burning body fat.

The right hand side is a more high intensity Muay Thai session. See the right hand corner of it? 26%. That means for a quarter of the session my body was burning body fat. THAT'S because my body had deplete my energy stores first, then go to my reserve of energy. Body fat!!

There's a bigger calorie burn in the Muay Thai session but it went on a lot longer.

The weights will burn fat, maintain muscle and give you a really good after burn. And that lean muscle physique you build lifting weights takes more calories to maintain. Win win for everyone!! Then you've stronger posture, better joins and prevention of osteoporosis.. Apart from that they're crap πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚
