Countdown is on until our first tournament of 2025 🥳 Massive thank you to UCD for hosting and inviting us. We have a few extra members coming this year than last which is really exciting for us . Can't wait to show them how much fun tournaments can be 🥳

Hey Guys, Melissa here ... A bit of a personal one but wanted to take a moment to thank two amazing clubs...

For me underwater hockey in Ireland has not just been a way to socialize or get Abit of fitness , it has resulted in a family that I call some of my best friends and I am so greatful for that.

I've been travelling New Zealand for Abit and this past week had Abit more time to myself and I reached out to clubs around and had over 10 clubs get back to me to say they would be happy to have me join a session... I would have loved to have made all but unfortunately I couldn't make it work but an amazing shout out to the Hawkes Bay Gannets and Tauranga UWH who very kindly welcomed me to their sessions this week... It has really helped as traveling solo can get tough at times... Will hopefully make one club before heading home.

Thank you New Zealand Underwater Hockey for allowing me to feel part of the family here 💕

Are you based in Dublin ?? Looking to make some new female friends, learn new skills and just have a load of fun ? Go check out our friends in Dublin Underwater Hockey who have been huge advocates for the growth of underwater hockey in Ireland 🥳

Thursday gone we had our first dedicated night of WIS 🎉🎉

This was possibly our best beginners group we have ever had!
Some really strong UWH players in this group. 💪🏻.


3 more weeks to come so hope to see you all again plus we will have some more who sadly couldn’t make the first night.
