Castlegar Camogie Club

It’s a proud moment and a huge occasion for the club having Darragh Neary playing with the Galway GAA Official hurling team this year but the club also has close ties with the great Keith Mc Dermott Keith McDermott Coaching too. Our club have been very lucky to have the likes of Keith supporting our senior hurling & camoge teams with the S&C side of things.

We wish Keith all the best this weekend as he is involved with the S&C side of the Galway GAA Official setup.

The excitement for this weekend’s All-Ireland Hurling Final is building up nicely. 🤌🏽

All roads lead to Croker as Galway GAA Official hurlers face Limerick in this year’s All-Ireland Hurling Final. This final is very special to us especially as a club because@darraghnearyy is representing us this year 🫶🏽🇶🇦✨ Not all heroes wear capes, they wear Cashel jerseys 😉

To kick it all off, we are starting to paint our club maroon and white for the next week. Our summer campers will kick it all off for us by wearing all their Galway gear tomorrow at camp 🕺🏽🇶🇦

Well done to our u11 and u12 camogie teams on a fantastic performance in Pearse Stadium today in the Connacht blitz. A wonderful display of camogie all round.

A huge thank you to the organisers. It was a fantastic day out for all these future Camogie stars. Castlegar were well represented with 2️⃣ teams. Huge credit to the parents & coaches who got them over there at 1.30 on a Wednesday. Thank you very much for your time.

Huge congrats to Katie de Paor and Ella O'Shaughnessy who played with the U14 Galway Team who won the Shield Final against Tipperary yesterday. A great achievement for both of them. We are very proud of you girls. 🫶🏽✨
