Team Ireland's elite squad have travelled to Guiyang, China for the Chinese leg of the World Boxing Cup.

Monivea Boxing Club's Adam Hession and Tobar Pheadair's Cliona Darcy will both be in action on the opening day.

Team Ireland have returned from the 4-Nations championships with a haul of 33 medals, including 11 gold.

Galway boxers featured heavily amongst medallists with Conamara's Cora Ní Catháin winning out her division.

Congratulations to Titans BC on their success at the Portimao International Boxing tournament last weekend.

Titans travelled with 9 boxers and returned with 6 gold medals, 1 silver & 1 bronze.

Titans were awarded 2nd best club of the tournament, an enormous achievement considering the 1200 boxers from 132 clubs who participated.

The 2026 West of Ireland Novices came to a close in Conamara today. Clubs from Galway, Connacht & Munster shared hundreds of rounds in a 2-day development tournament enjoyed by all.

Day 1 saw many young boxers take their first steps into the sport following the trail set by boxers such as former European pro champion Willie 'Big Bang' Casey who travelled with his team to take part.

added to the excitement on final's day and former WBA World bantamweight champion Bernard Dunne arrived to enjoy the atmosphere and share his experience with the sport's future.

Bouts were hotly contested, sportsmanship was shown throughout and friendships built outside the ropes.
