Tour de Conamara

3,000 cyclists savoured the shorelines, valleys, inclines and descents of the 2026 ŠKODA Tour de Conamara at the weekend. The fully booked cycle, one of the most popular annual cycling sportives in Ireland, comes with 140km and 80km routes and gives the town of Clifden, its base, and surrounding Connemara region its first big tourism weekend of the summer. Cyclists from over 15 countries, their families and friends descend on West Galway for the event.

And they're off! A brilliant morning in Clifden as cyclists set out for the Tour de Conamara! Cyclists are taking on the the 140k and 80k routes, with the very best of Conamara from Roundstone, Maam Valley, and Kylemore Abbey, and so much more along the way.
