We are now full for juveniles, and we have opened a waiting list.

Please send in the application form again, and we will add your child/children to the waiting list.

Below is the link to the Athletics Ireland vetting form. Please complete the form and return it, along with the required documents, to Dowd’s Hardware in Clifden.

Once you have been approved, if you are willing to help out with the club, your children will be accepted more quickly as spaces become available. If you would prefer not to volunteer, that’s absolutely fine — just keep an eye on your emails, and we will contact you when a space becomes available.

Thank you for your patience and understanding.

Slyne Head AC would like to say a huge thank you to Sports Partnership for their support and funding through the Increase Physical Activity Grant. 🏃‍♀️🏃‍♂️

This funding will help our athletics club increase participation in physical activity by supporting the delivery of new programmes and purchase of new equipment.

We’re delighted to receive this support and look forward to using it to create more opportunities for people in our community to get active, get involved and enjoy athletics.

Thank you, Galway Sports Partnership! 🙌

‼️IMPORTANT MESSAGE ‼️‼️

We now have only a few places remaining before we need to open a waiting list for juveniles.

For this reason, we can no longer offer trials at this time. Any child interested in joining should register as soon as possible while places are still available.

There are currently far fewer places remaining than there are children attending trials, so it would be unfair to continue offering trials when we may not be able to accommodate everyone.

We are absolutely delighted to see the club growing so much, but we also need to manage that growth carefully so that we can continue to provide the best possible experience and support for all our existing members. ❤️

If your child is placed on the waiting list when you try to register, priority will be given to parents who are Garda vetted and willing to become coaches or assist with coaching.

Thank you all for your continued support, patience and enthusiasm for the club. We really appreciate it! 💙
