What if one hour could shift the way you feel for the rest of your week?
Sometimes we just need to stop for a while.
To move our bodies.
To breathe a little more deeply.
To notice what's going on rather than rushing through it.
To create a little more space and a little less tension.
That's what I want my Wednesday evening classes to offer.
A welcoming space to slow down, explore movement, reconnect with your body and simply be for an hour.
No pressure to be flexible. No need to get the poses “right”. Just come as you are.
If you've been thinking about trying yoga, I'd love to welcome you. 🌿

There’s been a lot of go, go this summer, family, adventures, new ventures being planned and put into action, training for my first mountain ultra, and somewhere in all of that, I’ve neglected the things that help me feel grounded, pausing, meditating, breathing and simply being.
So today I stopped. Before I was forced to.
Instead of my planned run , I made stewed rhubarb with blueberries from the garden, made myself a cacao and sat in meditation. I mindfully tasted the goodness I had prepared and with appreciation of what has been given to me by the earth. Slowing down enough to taste it and receive it with gratitude.
I spotted hawthorn berries on the tree too, alongside the blackberries. Little signs that autumn is on its way nature beginning to slow, shift and turn inward, Something I am ready for, and my reminder to do the same.
Just because I value this and teach this, I’m not perfect, and I don’t always get it right. I am always adding stuff to the list of things to do. Its who I am, I love living life. But I’m learning to recognise when I need to slow down and, more importantly, to listen to what I need.
It feels especially meaningful as I prepare to facilitate Evening Exhale this Sunday. How can I create a space for others to pause, soften and exhale if I’m not also willing to give myself that same space?
So today I’m practising what I preach 🙏
Grateful for the space to pause, to notice and to simply be.
